Restallis Carpentry is a small exterior carpentry outfit working out of Nashua, New Hampshire.
The work is porches, decks, porticos, stairs and railings — the parts of a house that live outside, that people walk on, and that a New England winter goes after every single year. That is a narrow list on purpose. Doing one kind of work means knowing what fails and why: where water gets in behind a ledger, which rail systems go loose after two seasons, how far a stair run wants to sit from a door that opens outward.
Every photograph on this site is a job we built. No stock photography, no renderings, nobody else's work. Some of them were taken in the snow, because the frost line does not care what month it is.
